I wonder if it varies a bit by location -- the Walmart in my area has had those prices since the beginning of July. That's where I stocked up on 95% of my back-to-school supplies.
Hmmm... my Walmart has had these prices for several weeks now. I wonder why your didn't until now. No matter, I definitely stocked up weeks ago, before all the good stuff was gone! The also had 2-pocket, 3-prong folders for $.15.
Target has had the same prices on markers for weeks now (unadvertised.) Do you have a Walgreens where you live? They have had THE BEST deals in my area, hands down. This week: Elmer's glue sticks, 2/$0.19, composition notebooks 5/$1, Crayola markers $1, and 5-tab binder dividers 2/$1. I stocked up on Sharpies a few weeks ago there when they were 2/$0.69. (LOVE your blog.)
I;m not sure if this is all walmarts but mine had a limit on many of the items. It was 10 per person.
