Guess what me and Macaulay Culkin circa 1990 have in common?

We were both left Home Alone!!!!

My girls are attending a "summer camp" from 9-11:30 Monday-Thursday of this week. It's not exactly camp since they won't even be 2 until the end of August, but it's called that.

We've enrolled them at a Montessori school this fall and the school asked that they attend this weeklong session as a way for the girls to become familiar with the classroom and the teacher with them.

Who was I to argue?

Of course that meant I needed to scramble to find a place for the big brother to go.

Because I have not been home alone for any substantial amount of time for over 2 years.

And I love being home alone.

So he's at sports camp and they are at "school."

I feel the onset of adult ADD because my head is spinning with all that I want to do in my 10 hours this week...maybe I'll get a pedicure, perhaps I stroll around Barnes and Noble, oohhh I want to take my laptop to Starbucks. I want to buy a People magazine and go to the beach by myself. AHHHHH!

Truth be told, I'll probably go into my classroom and work on some stuff there.

I'll likely organize some stuff in the basement.

I'll spend time working on my other blog.

But, the point is I get to pick what I do.

No wonder there were 2 sequels to Home Alone. You can't get too much of a good thing.
